*Fwoomp* Bernice’s head hit the back of the goal.

“No fair! I wasn’t ready!” Shouted Penny.

“That’s what you said the last four goals.” Jessica responded. Bernice, not being able to hear their banter, simply waited for Penny to throw her head back out so that she could catch up to Jessica.

Bernice had been the one to think up the idea of playing soccer with her head. She had realized that, despite all the damage her head had been through, her head looked exactly the same (although it still hadn’t woke up). The group had gone out to a nearby park and were playing with one net on the abandoned soccer field.

    *Fwoomp* “Tie Game!” Shouted Penny.

“No fair! You let that go through!” Jessica retorted.

They continued their game for over an hour, playing games of 9 points and then switching who was goalie. Overall, they played 6 games, with Bernice having a total of 24 points, Jessica having 20 points, and Penny having 10 points.

Bernice placed her head lying under a nearby oak tree. She went back to the field, where Jessica and Penny were lying down, exhausted from their competition.

So I guess when the body is in charge, thoughts of the impending math test just aren't as important as an hour spent with two people you've never met kicking your head around. Love it.
